Assistant Facilities Manager

Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses. In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organisations for a variety of functions.

  • Responsible for supervising and providing work guidelines to Technicians and Duty Engineers on repair and maintenance works of the facilities
  • Assist the Facilities Manager in formulating preventive maintenance and implementation plans for building Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) systems
  • Update and submit the reports and the status of engineering audit, hygiene inspection, energy conservation measure, work safety and work order status to the Facilities Manager
  • Assist in preparing annual budget items, CAPEX analysis and control for the Facilities Manager
  • Monitor contractors’ work and liaise with relevant parties to develop and supervise projects and renovations
  • Conduct training on emergency procedures and system operation to the engineering team
  • Attend occasional special meetings to ensure a smooth operation on technical aspects
  • Maintain the updated layout plans, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) drawings, maintenance records, property assets records, etc.

  • Diploma or above in Facility / Property / Estate Management / Mechanical / Building Services Engineering or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in same capacity; preferably in luxury hotel
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Chinese Word Processing and AutoCAD
  • Customer-focused to meet the external and internal customers’ needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese
  • Strong leadership skills and innovative mindset
  • With experience of pre-opening project will be a definite advantage
