Steamer Cook

Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses. In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organisations for a variety of functions.

  • Handle different steamed, double-boiled, poached, braised and stewed food products and semi-cooked food products. Control the stove fire level and the timing control
  • Process all types Chinese herbs, dried seafood, dried food according to their characteristics
  • Manage cooking preparation of all dried food to control the yield and storage
  • Guide Junior Cook and Dish up on duties of braised, poached and oil for deep fried food
  • Participate in R&D of new cooking types

  • 4 years’ relevant experience in reputable hotels or Chinese restaurants
  • With understanding on the operation of relevant section HACCP and Work Safety

  • The Hilltop in the Valley – New Clubhouse (Happy Valley)
