GOODWOOD FESTIVAL
Goodwood Festival, commonly known as the Glorious Goodwood, is one of the most historic racing festivals and serves as the highlight of the summer flat racing fixtures in the UK. Racegoers turn up in their elegant fashion and enjoy top class racing in a relaxed atmosphere framed by picturesque views of Sussex countryside. Legendary champions in racing history including FRANKEL, KINGMAN, OUJIA BOARD, MINDING, DEIRDRE and STRADIVARIUS have triumphed in Goodwood Festival. In this summer, racing stars will continue to gather in the world’s most beautiful racecourse and vie for the highest honour. Three stellar Group One races will be run and won, including the Goodwood Cup for stayers, the Sussex Stakes for 3yo and older milers and the Nassau Stakes for 3yo and up fillies and mares. The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast three days of the Goodwood Festival meeting from Tuesday, 1 August to Thursday, 3 August.
World Pool has been offered for Goodwood Festival since the festival was first simulcast in Hong Kong in 2021. By gathering bets from different countries or regions, it adds liquidity, stability and smaller fluctuations in odds.
