York's Ebor Festival

Ebor festival is the focal point of British racing during the summer. This year, the North England's oldest and richest festival returns to York with passion and excitement at the end of August. The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast three days of the Ebor Festival from Wednesday, 23 August to Friday, 25 August.

Three G1 races will be run during the Ebor Festival, including the International Stakes for middle- distance experts, the mile and a half Yorkshire Oaks for 3YO and up fillies and mares and the Nunthorpe Stakes for sprinters. Many history making moments were created in the Ebor Festival. The International Stakes, in particular, has always been one of the highest rated races in the world's top 100 G1 ranking and honoured as No.1 globally for the first time in 2020, making it one of the hottest and most renowned 2000m event internationally. The racing big names like SINGSPIEL, GIANT'S CAUSEWAY, SEA THE STARS and FRANKEL made their marks here with victories. The last five International Stakes winners including ROARING LION, GHAIYYATH and BAAEED even went on to earn the European Horse of the Year title in the same year. Therefore, all eyes are on the world class stage to search for new legendary champions.

World Pool has been offered for Ebor Festival since it was first simulcast in Hong Kong in 2021. By gathering bets from different countries or regions, it adds liquidity, stability and smaller fluctuations in odds.
