• It is not uncommon for fillies to try and win both Classics. Indeed, Aidan O’Brien won both races with SNOWFALL in 2021 before saddling her to lift the Yorkshire Oaks too.


• Top-class racemare ENABLE completed the same treble in 2017. ENABLE returned to York to win the race for a second time in 2019 adding to John Gosden’s victories with DAR RE MI (2009) and THE FUGUE (2013).


• YOU GOT TO ME, fourth in the Oaks Stakes at Epsom, was this year’s Curragh heroine and is entered for York.
