Zac Purton has a great record in the Doncaster Mile despite not riding in it all that often due to his Hong Kong commitments. SACRED FALLS, IT’S SOMEWHAT and MR BRIGHTSIDE are all on his mantelpiece. He rides MILITARIZE in 2024.
No worries for wide barriers

Wide barriers would seem an issue however from the Randwick mile start, there is around 700m to the first turn. In the last 20 years, 12 Doncaster Mile winners have double figure gates. ANOTHER WIL, who just won the Doncaster Prelude last week and will start from a wide draw this time, is still the one to look at.
