Befitting one of the most prestigious jockey challenges in the world, the line-up for 2024 includes the top three jockeys from the LONGINES World's Best Jockey Rankings at that time: James McDonald, Ryan Moore, and William Buick. The LONGINES International Jockeys’ Championship is also one of the most lucrative for the winning rider. The four races are together worth HK$7.5 million in prize money, along with total bonus awards of HK$1,000,000 for the three most successful riders.
