Closed for fourth behind Golden Sixty in this race last year and has maintained a high level of form in 2024. Resumed with a sound win in the G2 Yomiuri Milers Cup (1600m) before a closing third to Romantic Warrior in the G1 Yasuda Kinen (1600m). No match for winner Jun Blossom’s late thrust but again ran well when second in the G2 Fuji Stakes (1600m) in October before capturing a breakthrough Group 1 success with a commanding two and a half length win in the 2024 G1 Mile Championship. Capable of racing handy to midfield but generally settles back. Won on a soft track (slightly rain affected) early in 2022, while all other runs have been on good and firm ground.

Surprised at odds of 45/1 in the 2023 BMW Hong Kong Derby (2000m). Seven-time winner from 21 starts, including an all-the-way 2023 Hong Kong Classic Mile (1600m) win. Returned last term for third in the 2023 G2 BOCHK Private Wealth Jockey Club Mile (1600m) behind Beauty Eternal before finishing second to Golden Sixty in the 2023 G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Mile (1600m). Secured a first Group 1 win in the 2024 Stewards’ Cup (1600m) in January this year. Unplaced in Dubai and Japan in the second half of last campaign, but finished a first-up second behind Galaxy Patch in the G2 Sha Tin Trophy (1600m) last month. Gritty win as second favourite in the 2024 BOCHK Private Wealth Jockey Club Mile latest. A winner over 1200m, 1400m, and 1600m and 2000m in Hong Kong. Can race handily and is very versatile. No ground issues.

Settled last and made an enormous finish to place second behind Mr Brightside in the G1 VRC Champions Mile (1600m) on 9 November. That followed a brilliant performance to win the G1 Toorak Handicap (1600m) by nearly seven lengths after lightning last-to-first move mid-race. Always shown elite potential and recent runs have certified his claim. Has not finished outside the first three in eight starts at 1600m, can be ridden forward or back, performs on wet or dry ground and is proven right-handed.

Achieved a career-best performance when he made all to win April’s G1 FWD Champions Mile (1600m). 2023 BMW Hong Kong Derby (2000m) third and the winner of nine races, including the 2023 G3 Lion Rock Trophy (1600m) and 2023 G3 Premier Cup (1400m), achieving the mantle as 2022/23 Most Improved Horse. Sixth in the 2023 G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Mile (1600m) behind Golden Sixty before finishing second to Voyage Bubble in the 2024 G1 Stewards’ Cup (1600m). Sixth first-up in the G2 Sha Tin Trophy (1600m) two starts ago before a weakening eighth in the G2 BOCHK Private Wealth Jockey Club Mile (1600m) this month. Races handy. No ground concerns.

Veteran runner with plenty of experience in Australia and Hong Kong. Steady performer with six wins, six seconds and six thirds from 35 starts in Hong Kong. Winner of the 2024 G2 Chairman’s Trophy (1600m). Previously claimed 2022 G3 Lion Rock Trophy (1600m) and 2022 G3 Premier Cup (1400m), too. Fifth first-up in the G2 Sha Tin Trophy (1600m) last month before finishing seventh in the G3 Sa Sa Ladies’ Purse (1800m). Ran a fair fifth behind Voyage Bubble in the G2 BOCHK Private Wealth Jockey Club Mile (1600m) latest. Versatile. No ground concerns.

Champion Four-Year-Old of 2023/24 after landing consecutive wins in the G3 Lion Rock Trophy (1600m) and the G3 Premier Plate (1800m). He was also just narrowly beaten by Massive Sovereign in the BMW Hong Kong Derby (2000m) and California Spangle in the G1 Queen’s Silver Jubilee Cup (1400m) last season. Showed further improvement as a five-year-old this term, with an impressive first up win in the G2 Sha Tin Trophy (1600m) before racing wide to finish third behind Voyage Bubble in the G2 BOCHK Private Wealth Jockey Club Mile (1600m) latest. Won his only start in Australia over 1100m. Made a swift impression in Hong Kong and appears set to continue his upward trend. Great turn of foot and no ground concerns.

Looks advantaged coming back to 1600m after three competitive, but unplaced performances from 2000m to 2100m at Group 1 level. Tardy start was no help when sixth to Via Sistina in the G1 VRC Champions Stakes (2000m) at Flemington on 9 November. Those three middle distance runs followed a very good second to Charyn in the G1 Queen Anne Stakes (1600m) at Royal Ascot. Boasts two wins and four placings from seven starts at 1600m. Settles back in his races, versatile in terms of ground and racing right-handed is no issue.

Consistent performer who improved out of sight this season once acclimatised to racing in Hong Kong, winning five races, including the 2024 G3 January Cup (1800m) at Happy Valley since the start of the 2023/24 season. Third in the G3 Premier Plate (1800m) before an encouraging fourth behind Voyage Bubble in the G2 BOCHK Private Wealth Jockey Club Mile (1600m) latest. Strong closer and can surprise. Best on good ground.

Two-time winner in Ireland, both times over 1400m. Seventh in the 2022 Britannia Stakes (1600m) at Royal Ascot. Improved significantly as a four-year-old, winning four races from March through May in 2023, all over 1400m at Sha Tin. Continues to fly under the radar and race well, winning a Class 1 over 1400m before finishing third in the 2024 G1 Queen’s Silver Jubilee Cup (1400m) and 2024 G2 Chairman’s Trophy (1600m). Achieved his best career performance when second to Beauty Eternal in the G1 FWD Champions Mile (1600m) last April. Finished eighth in his seasonal reappearance two starts back before an unflattering ninth in the G2 BOCHK Private Wealth Jockey Club Mile (1600m) latest. No ground concerns.

Quality four-year-old in Hong Kong. American-bred youngster who won on debut and placed twice across four runs in his rookie Hong Kong season. Improved sharply last term after stepping up to a mile, winning a total of six races at Sha Tin. Career best performances included a gallant second in the Hong Kong Classic Cup (1800m) and a victory at Class 1 level over 1600m last term. Consistent and ran another gallant race when second behind Voyage Bubble in the G2 BOCHK Private Wealth Jockey Club Mile (1600m) latest after flashing home late. Usually sits handy and has led in the past but is versatile. Best seen on good surfaces.

Three-time winner in Great Britain pre-import. Took time to settle into Hong Kong, however, is now a six-time winner over 1400m at Sha Tin. Took a giant step forward last season with victory in the 2024 G3 Chinese Club Challenge Cup (1400m). Finished sixth in his most recent Group 1 attempt in the FWD Champions Mile (1600m) last April. Encouraging first up run this term when second to The Golden Scenery in the G3 Celebration Cup (1400m). Finished seventh in the G2 BOCHK Private Wealth Jockey Club Mile (1600m) latest. Solid competitor. Best on good ground.

Lightly raced four-time winner of six starts. Unbeaten over 1600m. Not seen since May when tracked wide on the speed from gate 16 and was simply too good in the G1 NHK Mile Cup (1600m). Third in G1 Satsuki Sho (2000m) to Justin Milano when arguably let go for home too soon in a fast run race. All outings have been on good-firm ground and likely to race prominently. Clearly on an upward spiral and can make his presence felt.

Won his first six starts in France from 1300m to 1500m, culminating with a commanding victory in the G1 Prix Maurice de Gheest (1300m) in August. Then shipped to Australia for the lucrative Golden Eagle (1500m) where he worked very hard on the speed, still looked the winner but was overhauled in last few strides by the William Haggas-trained Lake Forest. Races on-speed, performs racing both directions and is capable under all track conditions.

Sold for €1.5 million at Arqana’s Arc Sale immediately after winning the G2 Prix Daniel Wildenstein at Longchamp on 5 October. Took the trail, in fourth, behind a good pace on that occasion and won well. Had previously been ridden more prominently. Very effective on soft and very soft ground. Had little exposure to good ground but the track was better than soft when he was beaten less than two lengths in the G1 Poule d’Essai des Poulains (1600m). Five wins in France from 10 starts, also boasting two Group 3 scores.
