HK$228 million mega prize pot to celebrate the Year of the Snake Introducing the largest-ever HK$188 million Chinese New Year Snowball draw

To usher in the Year of the Snake, The Hong Kong Jockey Club will offer a total of HK$228 million in prizes during the first month of the Chinese New Year, including racing jackpots and the largest-ever Chinese New Year Snowball draw.

An estimated HK$20.8 million in prize money up for grabs at Chinese New Year Raceday
As the Triple Trio will be topped up from the Jackpot Reserve for the Chinese New Year Raceday on 31 January, the estimated dividend for a single HK$10 winning unit could reach HK$18 million.

The Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool will also be topped up with a HK$2.8 million jackpot.

In addition, more jackpots will be added to the remaining seven local race meetings of the first month of the Chinese New Year (5 to 26 February). The Club will announce the details in due course.

Largest Chinese New Year Snowball ever, with an estimated First Division Prize Fund of HK$188 million
The Mark Six Chinese New Year Snowball draw will be held on 2 February. The draw will carry a snowball of HK$150 million and the First Division Prize Fund is estimated to reach HK$188 million for a single HK$10 winning unit. It will be a record-high dividend payout for a HK$10 winning unit, as well as the largest Chinese New Year Snowball in history.

Selling hours
The selling* time of all betting pools for the Chinese New Year Raceday will commence at noon on Thursday, 30 January, while the tickets for the Chinese New Year Snowball draw will be available after the draw on Saturday night, 25 January. Bets and tickets can be placed via Off-Course Betting Branches#, Telebet and through Digital Channels**.
