This year’s voting for the “Most Popular Horse and Jockey” (photo 1) has officially opened. Participants have the chance to win an amazing prize by voting online.

The 2023/24 “Most Popular Horse and Jockey” nominees (in alphabetical order – for jockeys, in alphabetical order of their given names) are as follows. Public voting starts today at www.hkjc.com/MPHJ and will run until 11.59pm on Friday, 5 July.

#Voters can choose “Others” and fill in unlisted horse or jockey name(s) provided that the nominated horse or jockey competed during the current racing season.

Eligible voters^ will be entered into a lucky draw* automatically for a chance to win fabulous prizes (photo 2) as follows:

Grand Prize 30 winners A stable tour to take you behind the scenes and visit the “Most Popular Horse”, plus a designated Sha Tin Racecourse catering coupon with total value of HK$1,000 for each winner
Second Prize 30 winners Meet the “Most Popular Jockey” and receive an autographed designated jockey goggles gift set, plus a designated Sha Tin Racecourse catering coupon with total value of HK$500 for each winner
Consolation Prize 300 winners A designated Sha Tin Racecourse catering coupon with total value of HK$100 for each winner

The horse and jockey with the highest number of votes will be awarded the “Most Popular” titles. The lucky draw results will be published in Sing Tao Daily, The Standard and at www.hkjc.com/MPHJ on 19 July. Winners will be notified individually by SMS with prize collection details.

^Must be aged 18 or above and hold a valid Hong Kong Identity Card or Hong Kong travel document, and have a Hong Kong mobile number.

Racecourse entrants and those who bet must be aged 18 or above. Don’t gamble your life away.
