Terms & Conditions:

1. By participating in this activity through The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s (the “Club”) Classic 3-in-1 Mobile Betting App (the “Club’s Mobile Betting App”), participants are deemed to have agreed with and accepted these terms and conditions and undertake to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the course of participating in the activity
2. All participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of registration and hold a valid Hong Kong mobile phone number.
3. Staff and their immediate family members (being, spouse, parents and parents-in-law, children and children-in-law, siblings and siblings-in-law, grandparents and grandparents-in-law, and grandchildren and grandchildren-in-law, etc.) of the Club and advertising agencies engaged for the promotion of the Contest are not eligible to participate in the Contest. The Club reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants. 
4. To participate in the activity, participants must vote for the relevant horse under this activity at the Club’s Mobile Betting App.
5. The activity will be held in three rounds. The activity period of each round will be announced in the Club’s Mobile Betting App.  Each participant of the activity (as determined by the registered Hong Kong mobile phone number) may only participate for one time for each round of activity, and is only eligible to receive a maximum of one prize in all rounds activity.
6. All participants who submit their entry (both English and Chinese are acceptable, no word limit) on or before the required deadline of each round will be eligible to participate in this activity. All entrants must vote and submit their answer in the relevant page in the Club’s Mobile Betting App. Entrants may submit multiple entries in each round, but only the latest submission will be counted and will only be eligible for one prize at most in all three rounds.
7. Participants must not submit, send or transmit any information or material (including but not limited to content and photo) that is illicit, insulting, defamatory, discriminatory, offensive, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, or contains indecent elements, foul language, any other unlawful elements or elements that would incite a crime, personal attacks, commercial advertising or content that may infringe intellectual property or privacy of others (collectively, “Unacceptable Contents”). The Club reserves the right to remove any information or material which we consider to be Unacceptable Contents as aforesaid and disqualify the relevant participants without prejudice to the remedies or relief available to the Club under the law.
8. The Club reserves the perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide, sub-licensable and royalty-free right to use all or any part of the photos and answers submitted through the Club’s Mobile Betting App for promotional, marketing and other purposes (including without limitation, organization of any other activities in connection with this activity and/or the subject matter thereof) subject to any alteration that the Club may make with or without attribution to the relevant participants.
9. The Club will select a total of 10 highest score participants who submitted the most creative answers via the Club’s Mobile Betting App as the winners of the activity. The winners will be selected by the Club based on quality of the answer submitted: 50% on creative originality and 50% on concept. The competition will be judged by a committee panel appointed by the Club. The decision of the Club shall be final.
10. The 10 winners will be entitled to will be entitled to one designated 4YO star Stable Visit Ticket (collectively, the “Prizes”), subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Prize.
11. The list of winners of each round will be announced after 5 working days following the relevant race. Winners will be notified for the prize redemption details individually by phone after the result of each round is announced.  The Club will make a maximum of three phone call attempts to the winners. If the winner is out of reach, they will be disqualified and his/her prize will be passed to the next winner.
12. Prizes are redeemable at designated location within specified hours according to the phone call. No prizes will be granted after the designated prize redemption period.  Redemption by third parties is not allowed.  In case of any discrepancies between the required information (i.e. the winner’s name) submitted to the Club and the HKID card or Hong Kong travel document as presented at the time of prize redemption, the winner may be disqualified.  Under no circumstances shall the winners claim any compensation from the Club.
13. The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash or any alternative items.
14. Entry time and record are recorded by the computer system of the Club and/or its service provider, and the record of the Club and/or its service provider shall be final and conclusive. Any entry that is made after the deadline of submission will not be accepted. Proof of dispatch cannot be accepted as proof of submission of any entry. Neither the Club nor its service provider accepts any liability or responsibility for any loss, damage, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, alteration of, or unauthorized access to entries, or entries lost or delayed whether or not arising during operation or transmission as a result of server functions, virus, bugs or other causes outside of its control, or any other loss howsoever caused.
15. Participants shall not participate in this activity using any means which may cause disruption to the operations of the Club’s Mobile Betting App. Any such participants will be disqualified. The Club reserves the right to pursue legal action. Any participants found to have acted fraudulently, corruptly or dishonestly in this activity will be disqualified immediately.
16. In case of any claim, compensation or liability arising from any participant’s information and/or materials and/or the usage of such information and/or materials by the Club related to participation in this activity, those participants sending and/or transmitting such information and/or materials shall indemnify the Club for any such claim, compensation or liability.
17. The Club is not the manufacturer of the prize and does not accept any liability for the quality of the prizes. Therefore to the maximum extent permitted by law of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region, the Club does not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any damage, loss, death or personal injury arising from or in connection with the use or enjoyment of any of the prizes. The enjoyment of the prize by the winner is subject to the relevant terms and conditions.
18. The Club reserves the sole and all right to make decisions relating to the activity, and may cancel, postpone or modify any content of the activity (including but not limited venue, date or time, performance or other activities, entry requirements, gift, discount or other offerings) or amend the relevant terms and conditions, at any time without notice, and without liability for refund, compensation or otherwise. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Club shall be final.
19. All participants expressly confirm that they have read and understood the Club’s Privacy Policy Statement at http://www.hkjc.com/english/corporate/corp_privacy.asp , and further agree that the Club may use their personal data in the course of and/or for the purpose of this activity. The Club’s appointed contractor, vendor or third-party service provider etc. may assist the Club to collect, use, store, keep or other means to process the data.
20. This activity and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Each participant is fully responsible for ensuring that his or her participation in this activity is lawful in accordance with laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and any other applicable laws. The Club shall not be taken to make any representations, express or implied, as to the lawlessness of any participation.
21. In case of any disputes and/or discrepancies between the required information (i.e. the winner’s name) submitted to inbox of the Club’s Mobile Betting App and the officially recognized documents as presented at the time of prize redemption, the winner may be disqualified. The decision of the Club shall be final.
22. Both the participants and the Club agree and acknowledge that (1) they do not intend any term of these Terms and Conditions to be enforceable by any third party pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap 623); and (2) these Terms and Conditions shall be excluded from the application of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance.
23. In cases of any disputes regarding the Terms and Conditions, processing, results and all other matters relating to this Contest, the decision of the Club shall be final.
24. These Terms and Conditions are drafted in English and translated into Chinese. In the event of any discrepancy between the two versions, the English version shall prevail.
