2022/23 racing season concludes with Champion Awards and Sha Tin Season Finale

The 2022/23 Hong Kong racing season concludes this Sunday (16 July) at Sha Tin Racecourse. While the campaign comes to a close this weekend, firstly on Friday evening (14 July) our heroes of the sport will be honoured at the season-end Hong Kong Jockey Club Champion Awards to celebrate their remarkable performances.
Hong Kong’s 2022/23 Season Finale takes place as a twilight meeting at Sha Tin Racecourse. The presentation of Hong Kong’s Most Popular Jockey and Most Popular Horse are among the race meeting’s many highlights.
Chris Polanco and his band will be performing a string of toe-tapping tunes on stage near Mezza One, Grandstands during race intervals. Food trucks will also be on hand for fans to enjoy while watching the horse racing action and performances between.
The day will close with jockeys handing out souvenirs and bidding farewell to fans.
There will be 11 races on the card, with the first race due to run at 4pm. Admission starts at 2pm.
