Tom hails from a successful racing family with his parents training in partnership for a number of years, winning Group One races in New Zealand and Australia. In 2008 Tom joined New Zealand Racing Board’s Trackside Television as a trainee commentator, before landing full time calling positions in Dunedin and the Central Districts. Tom was later picked up by the Singapore Turf Club in January 2017 and was promoted to be their number one broadcaster early in 2018.

A new-generation racing commentator who is specialized in overseas racing, he is one of the anchors of the Club’s simulcast TV broadcasts and a columnist in Oriental Daily’s racing section.

Lally, Paul
Joined the industry in the 1980s with the New Zealand Racing Board and later served as a Racing Secretary for six galloping and harness clubs around the country. After becoming Head of Sports Betting with New Zealand TAB, he joined the Club in 2008 to work in football betting and on the Jockey Challenge. He now works as a consultant and a popular tipster and analyst on “Racing To Win”.

Familiar with both local and overseas racing, as well as pedigrees. Besides hosting pre- and post-racing programs, he has been one of the simulcast racing hosts since 2009.

Fell in love with horse racing in 1988 and has been continuously studying racing ever since. He now looks after the first-start runner introductions for the Club and is a columnist in Apple Daily’s racing section.

Sadler, Edward
Hails from a racing family and has had a passion for the sport for as long as he can remember. His father, John Sadler, is a multiple Group 1 winning trainer in Melbourne, while his late grandfather, Frank O’Brien, was a distinguished racing commentator, calling 20 Melbourne Cups in his career. He arrives in Hong Kong on the back of international stints at the Singapore Turf Club and Dubai Racing Channel, working as a racing presenter at both organizations.

Yeung, Andrew
A dedicated racing fan who has been connected with horse racing since 1989. He provides pre-race forecasts in Apple Daily, Sing Tao Daily, HK Commercial Daily and on his Facebook fan page. He is now a commentator on NowTV 668.

A horse racing reporter at Sing Tao Daily News and a Sing Tao Racing & Headline News columnist, Henry is also an anchor of an online horse racing program on Facebook. His strength is to analyze the chances of outsiders.

Inspired by his grandfather, uncle & dad, Dee’s strong interest in horse racing came when he was young. He began watching morning track work in 1993 and joined the HK Radio horse racing team as race caller 4 years later. He currently hosts a J2 pre-race program.

Deeply interested in horse racing since his youth he gained some riding experience as an apprentice jockey trainee. He joined the commentator training program in 2008. He currently anchors the variety program “Racing Horizon” and shares his paddock analysis on the Club’s racecourse live program.

A model, anchor, translator and blogger, Scarlett’s strong language skills cover English, Mandarin & Korean. A former anchor on Cable TV’s horse racing program, she also hosted the APQEII Special program last season, and is now seen on TV sharing statistical data during the J2 pre-race program.

Andrew joined classic winning flat trainer Henry Candy straight out of school to serve as an apprentice then later Grand National & Gold Cup winning trainer Toby Balding as a conditional jockey. As a Presenter with Sky Racing Australia, Andrew was a studio anchor for some of the World’s great race meetings including: Dubai World Cup, Royal Ascot, Arc de Triomphe and Breeders’ Cup meeting.
