The City Saddles Up

The new racing season is almost here! Join us at Sha Tin Racecourse on 6 September as the city saddles up for the 2026/27 Season Opening. Strike the Lucky Gong and enjoy a day packed with great entertainment and alluring rewards. ​

On the day, Club Year of the Horse Ambassador Aaron Kwok will appear at Sha Tin Racecourse and deliver the first-ever live performance of the Hong Kong Jockey Club New Annual Theme Song “Go Go Go” live as racing fans come together to welcome the new season. All eyes will also be on Ka Ying Rising as the Horse of the Year takes on the challenge of extending its winning streak to 21st consecutive win. Gather your family and friends and be part of the excitement!
