Witness the Season Finale at Sha Tin Racecourse on Sunday

Hong Kong wraps up another remarkable racing season at Sha Tin Racecourse on Sunday (14 July) (Photo 1), with the trainers’ championship battle between Pierre Ng and Francis Lui extending until the final stage of the season, where the winner is set to be crowned at the 88th and final fixture. Racegoers can also look forward to a line-up of engaging on-course entertainment activities. Admission to Sha Tin and Happy Valley Racecourses commences at 2pm, with the first race kicking off at 4pm.
The Season Finale features 11 races, along with an array of off-track festivities at Sha Tin. Highlights include:
– Hong Kong Racehorse Owners Association Trophy (Race 8) at 7.35pm
– Award presentations for the “Tony Cruz Award”, “Most Popular Jockey”, “Most Popular Horse”, “Champion Jockey” and “Champion Trainer”
– Live performance by popular singer Raymond Lam in the Parade Ring (Photo 2)
– Jockeys’ Parade and giveaway of designated mini-horse plushies featuring the silks of champion horses* in the Parade Ring (Photo 3)
– Star jockey James McDonald will attend the Season Finale and join the Jockeys’ Parade to celebrate this racing season with all supporting fans
In addition to the world-class racing, the Season Finale sees a vibrant selection of entertainment between races, including popular local bands Zpecial, Pandora and Nowhere Boys’, who will perform live in the area underneath Mezza One. There is also a Season Finale Photo Exhibition and Sha Tin Racecourse Delights quiz to win prizes and a variety of delicacies, ensuring a thoroughly enjoyable day.
