【Lucky Start 2025】Luck Catcher Q&A Challenge Terms & Conditions

• By participating in 【Lucky Start 2025】Luck Catcher Q&A Challenge, participants are deemed to have agreed and accepted these Terms and Conditions below and undertake to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the course of participating in this activity.
• All participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of registration and hold a valid Hong Kong Identity Card or Hong Kong Travel Document.
• Activity Period: 10:30am to 5:30pm on January 1, 2025, subject to the final arrangement of The Hong Kong Jockey Club (the "Club") in view of the circumstances without prior notice.
• Challenge Location: Underneath Mezza One at Sha Tin Racecourse.
• Each round of the challenge will involve one participant. The screen will display a question, and the participant must reach into the machine to catch the shape that represents the correct answer. Participants may attempt to catch a shape for up to 3 times within 1 minute. Participants who successfully draw the correct shape will receive a designated keychain. (500 Quotas and on a first-come, first-served basis)
• The Challenge must be played under the witness of the on-site staff, otherwise it will be invalid and the result will not be recognized. Participants must participate in the Challenge in accordance with the instructions of staff onsite. Staff onsite and/or the Club has the right to refuse any participant from participating in the Challenge without giving any reason or compensation. Participants participate in the Challenge at their own risk, and shall ensure that they are in a suitable health condition to participate in the Challenge. To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region, the Club shall not be responsible for any personal injury or death.
• Redemption by third parties is not allowed. No prizes can be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
• Photographs, images and/or other illustration of the prizes are for reference only and should not be relied on as accurate representations of the actual prizes.
• The Club is not the manufacturer of the prizes, and does not accept any liability for the quality of the prizes, therefore to the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region, the Club does not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any damage, loss, death or personal injury arising from or in connection with the use or enjoyment of any of the prizes. The use and enjoyment of the prize by the winner is subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier and any dispute arising from the use and enjoyment of any of the prizes shall be resolved between the winner and the supplier directly, for which the Club accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever.
• The Club reserves the sole and all right to make decisions relating to this activity, and may cancel, postpone or modify any content of this activity (including but not limited venue, date, time or prize) or amend the relevant terms and conditions, at any time without notice, and without liability for refund, compensation or otherwise. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Club shall be final.
• The Club may be taking pictures and videos of participants during this activity. Such pictures and videos may be used for promotional purposes, and the participants may be identified in the relevant materials. In case of any objection, please notify the Club in writing.
• Personal data of participants will be collected and used in accordance of the Privacy Policy Statement of the Club available at https://www.hkjc.com/home/english/corporate/corp_privacy.aspx, and may be provided to service providers of the Club for the purposes of this Challenge.
• This Challenge and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Each participant is fully responsible for ensuring that his or her participation in this Challenge is lawful in accordance with laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and any other applicable laws. The Club shall not be taken to make any representations, express or implied, as to the lawlessness of any participation.
• The Terms and Conditions are available in both Chinese and English versions. In the event of any inconsistency between the two versions, the English language version shall prevail.
