The assistant to Tomokazu Takano, Takashi Matsui said: “I asked him to pick up the pace slightly during work today. The overall impression was positive and the work progressed smoothly. He was calm and walked nicely in the paddock.”

Strauss was given an easy canter for a lap and a half on the all-weather track.
The assistant to Ryo Takei, Yudai Seto said: “Although it was his first time going onto the track, he adapted quickly and was able to work in a relaxed manner. It was a productive session that should carry over well into tomorrow’s training.”
