WHAT IS OUTBOUND COMMINGLING
Outbound Commingling allows specific Hong Kong pools to be merged into the pools of designated outbound commingling partner for simulcast races.
Starting from October 2019, on designated simulcast races from France, Win and Place Bets will be outbound commingled to the respective Pools operated by Pari Mutuel Urbain ("PMU") of France, in accordance with the modified horse race betting rules of PMU*. Rebate is not applicable.

Quinella, Quinella Place and other exotic bet pools will still be operated under Hong Kong separate pools, where the Hong Kong Horse Race Betting Rules will be applied. Rebate is applicable to Quinella and Quinella Place.
ODDS CALCULATION IN FRANCE PMU:

# "Net Pool" means the relevant Outbound Commingling Pool less the Percentage Deduction and the total amount of bets received by the Foreign Operator (i.e. France PMU) on all "winning combinations"
Important Notice
Where after the commencement of betting for a designated race, outbound commingled Bets are unable to be included in the Pools of the PMU, if HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited has decided to conduct a separate Pool in Hong Kong in respect of the outbound commingled Bets instead, the Dividends from the relevant Hong Kong Pool shall be calculated in accordance with the PMU’s calculation formula for the relevant Win or Place Bets.
*Outbound commingling bets on designated horse races operated by Pari Mutuel Urbain("PMU") are governed by the Betting Rules of PMU as regulated and modified by the Horse Race Betting Rules of HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited.
