He was quite amazing,\u201d Ng said. \u201cHopefully one day, hopefully next week is that day, but I don\u2019t think it will be that soon. Hopefully in the future we get more and more runners in the race and that gives us more chances to get it.\u201d<\/p><p>Veteran galloper Duke Wai will represent Ng in his quest for Chairman\u2019s Sprint Prize glory on FWD Champions Day, fresh following a campaign to Dubai where he finished a slashing fifth in the G1 Al Quoz Sprint (1200m) over the straight course at Meydan.<\/p><p>\u201cSince returning from Dubai, he has recovered very well from that trip. I was very happy with him,\u201d Ng said. \u201cWe\u2019re planning for that (Chairman\u2019s Sprint Prize) and it\u2019ll probably be his last run for the season as well.\u201d<\/p><p>Ng was granted a licence to train in Hong Kong ahead of this season, while his well-known father led a highly successful stable for over 30 years and accumulated a trio of Horse of the Year titles with Mystic (1984\/85) and Quicken Away (1988\/89 &amp; 1989\/90).<\/p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<div class=\"videoBox\" data-poster=\"http:\/\/campaigns.hkjc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/649\/news-230420-dukewai-v1.jpg\" data-link=\"replay-full\/2023\/20230325\/s0204\/eng\/replay-full_20230325_s0204_eng\"  data-wa=\"\" data-themecolor=\"\"><\/div><p class=\"caption\">Duke Wai finishes fifth in Dubai.<\/p>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<p>Duke Wai has placed at Group 2 and Group 3 level this season.
